EMG 40TW Bass Pickup

The EMG 40TW is an active dual-mode bass pickup for five-string basses in a 4-inch (102 mm) extended soapbar housing. A push/pull control switches between the warm, clear JCS-style single-coil sound and the powerful, mid-forward CS-style humbucker sound.

Installation: Each 40TW requires its own push/pull control for switching. EMG advises against combining two 40TW pickups with its standard BT or BQ systems without alternative switching arrangements. Check EMG's official installation instructions and your bass's pickup cavity dimensions before ordering.

Draft listing: Exact finish, included accessories, current supplier availability, final price and authorised photography require confirmation before publication.
